Dr Patel qualified from Manchester in 2006 and after a year working in Cambridge returned to Manchester for a year as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Further practice-based work led to the completion of the MFDS and membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. Gaining further experience, Dr Patel then spent time in private practice in Australia before returning to the UK. He has worked as a Specialist Doctor in Oral Surgery at Fairfield Hospital in Greater Manchester, carrying out procedures on his own theatre list and teaching senior house officers. In general practice, Dr Patel believes in tailoring dental care to the individual. He has completed numerous courses, including dental implants and short-term orthodontics, so that he can provide the highest standards and comprehensive treatment. Jig enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly helping patients replace their missing teeth and restoring their confidence with dental implants, which he has been placing since 2012. He accepts referrals for general restorative dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign and oral surgery.
