Dr Jacob Taekke

Jacob graduated as a dentist in Denmark in 2001 and worked there and in Portugal before moving to Somerset in 2003 where he lives. Jacob is married with 3 children. He holds 2 postgraduate degrees is implantology and oral surgery. Jacob has been working with dental implants since 2008, and to date, placed and restored more than 1000 implants. Jacob is passionate about continuous education, which enables him to perform many different procedures (see procedures list below) and to teach other dentists. Jacob is registered as an implant mentor with ADI (association of Dental Implantology), helping other implant dentists achieve their professional goals. Jacob is a certified provider of Clear Correct aligners and can help patient get an aesthetic straighter smile and an improved bite. Clear Correct and Invisalign are the biggest providers of aligner treatments worldwide. Jacob is an expert user of Straumann, Neodent, Anthogyr, Sweden and Martina, and Zimvie implants and has encountered and restored many other implant brands over the years.
