Mohsen qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute, King’s College London, in 2001, having completed the five-year primary dental degree (BDS). After graduating, he took up vocational training in the Guildford scheme, followed by Senior House Officer and Staff Grade Surgeon hospital posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s College Hospital, London. Mohsen was awarded Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005, following completion of vocational and hospital training and examinations. He worked as an associate dentist in an exclusively private practice in Berkshire for five years and became a founding partner at Pearl Dental Clinic in 2007. Mohsen was selected by the London Deanery in 2012 for the four-year specialist postgraduate training residency programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital, part of University College London Hospital. During his specialist training, he treated patients referred to the Eastman Dental Hospital for complex root canal treatment and apicectomy procedures. In 2016, after completing four years of extensive postgraduate specialist training and examinations, Mohsen was awarded the degree of Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) with Merit in Endodontology by University College London. Mohsen successfully completed his Endodontic specialist training exit examinations (M Endo) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was elected by the college council as an Endodontics speciality member. He was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Endodontics by the General Dental Council and was entered onto the specialist list for Endodontics. Mohsen holds membership of the British Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists and both the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. He presented his Master’s research thesis on the long-term (4-17 years) outcome of root-treated teeth diagnosed with incompletely healed periapical lesions at the Spring Scientific Meeting of the British Endodontic Society in London. Mohsen practises minimally invasive restorative dentistry. He accepts referrals from dentists at Pearl Dental Clinic and dentists working in other practices for root canal treatment under microscope magnification and restorative dentistry procedures.
