Mr Sami Stagnell completed training at King’s College London in 2009. Following graduation, Sami worked as senior house officer and staff grade in maxillofacial and oral surgery at the London NHS Trust and Barts. He also spent time as visiting postgraduate advisor (consultancy) and honorary clinical teacher at King’s College. Sami is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) in Edinburgh and the Faculty of General Dentistry with the RCS England. In 2015, Sami gained his MSc with merit in aesthetic dentistry from King’s College. He is currently embarked on a second MSc in skin ageing and aesthetic medicine with the University of Manchester. In addition to postgraduate training, Sami has completed training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) hypnosis and sedation. He uses these techniques to help nervous and anxious patients feel at ease during treatment. Sami is active in several dental societies and organisations. He is vice-chair of the British Dental Association’s (BDA) Young Dentists Committee. He is also a Fellow in Clinical Leadership and Management with Health Education England, through which he works to support various UK healthcare projects. Sami is on the specialist register for oral surgery. He provides all aspects of oral, facial aesthetic and implant surgery by referral.
