Andy graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1997 having won prizes for restorative dentistry and the best elective project. As part of his elective he studied at the University of Iowa Dental School in the USA at their department of Endodontics. His research project was later published in the International Endodontic Journal. After graduating, Andy went into general practice. Whilst developing his career in general practice, and providing a small endodontic (root canal treatment) referral service, he was asked to teach postgraduate courses on modern techniques in endodontics at various centres around the Midlands, something that Andy continues to do to this day. He also held a position of Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham School of Dentistry for three years, teaching on the undergraduate clinics. After further training in the USA and Switzerland with two of the world’s foremost Endodontists, Andy set up further endodontic referral clinics in Birmingham and Buckinghamshire. He then decided to concentrate his efforts in Evesham having become a Partner in the practice in 2007. Here he was able to combine his enjoyment of general dental practice with an endodontic referral service at the same location. Andy is a member of the British Dental Association and the British Endodontic Society. He is passionate about maintaining the highest standards in dentistry and, in particular, in his endodontic treatments. He constantly seeks out information and training about the most up to date and effective methods in endodontics. It is this knowledge, training and passion which has allowed him to provide a high quality endodontic referral service for over twenty years. Andy prides himself on high quality patient care in a professional yet relaxed manner whilst making the patient as comfortable as possible. Outside of work he is passionate about his two children and enjoys active days out with them. He loves spending time as a family and is equally happy walking on the Malvern Hills or going to the cinema.
