Mr Krishna Pillai

Currently Selby’s longest serving dentist of 26 years, Krishan qualified from Kings college London in 1995. After completing his one year vocational training at Butterfield and Slater Dental surgeons (now Selby Dental Care) he continued to practice there as an associate until 2001. In 2002 he purchased Mrs Fosters private practice on park street Selby and converted it back into NHS care with the help of his nurse and practice Manager Shirley Briggs. In 2005 Krishna was appointed as an vocational trainer which involves the tutoring and mentoring of newly qualified dental graduates. He continued to train graduates for a further six years and all of them have progressed to be successful in their own chosen branches of dentistry. Krishan and Shirley along with various members of staff worked tirelessly over the last 16 years to continually improve the NHS and private care to their loyal patients who have over the years became friends as well as patients.
