Dr Simon Holmes

Simon has been with the Clifton Moor Dental Centre since 2004. Graduating in Leeds in 1992, Simon went on to work in oral and maxillofacial for the next five years. Working alongside his peers, Simon involves himself in an array of surgical treatments including trauma and routine. This is where he gained his interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery and in 1997 set up the North Yorkshire Oral Surgery Referral Service. Simon has extensive training in oral surgery and sedation for dental anxiety. He has gained a reputation in the Yorkshire community with patients and other peers alike and has an excellent referral base for oral surgery, sedation and implants. He invites referrals from dentists throughout Yorkshire for intricate surgical problems. Outside of dentistry, Simon has a passion for mountain bikes, kayaking, snowboarding and his VW camper van. He can often be found tinkering with one of them during his spare time and the team love hearing about his adventures in the staff room. Simon accepts referrals for implants, oral surgery and IV sedation from both general practitioners and self-referral.
