Dr Matthew Ferrin

Dr. Matthew Ferrin is the pediatric dentist at Oak Park Smiles and a proud Conejo Valley local. Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, Dr. Matt is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to children in the community he calls home. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, followed by his dental degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2022. Dr. Matt then completed advanced residency training in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Langone – Brooklyn in 2024, where he received extensive experience caring for children with a wide range of dental needs. Dr. Matt is passionate about creating positive, stress-free dental visits that help children feel comfortable and confident at the dentist. His gentle, lighthearted approach and focus on a fun, welcoming environment are designed to build trust and encourage lifelong healthy dental habits. As a father of two young boys, Dr. Matt understands the importance of treating every child with patience, empathy, and care just as he would want for his own children. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Matt spent two years in Mendoza, Argentina, where he became fluent in Spanish, allowing him to better serve a diverse community. Dr. Matt is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He looks forward to being your family’s trusted local pediatric dentist.
