Dr. Scott Hiramoto was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up spending his free time playing all sports and continued playing baseball at Punahou throughout his high school years. He went on to study at University of Southern California after earning an academic scholarship and received a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2010 before moving across town to UCLA School of Dentistry to receive his dental degree in 2014. He then went on to pursue an elective hospital dentistry residency at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu to learn more advanced techniques and procedures and to treat more medically complex patients and patients with special needs. Following residency, provided dental care on Lana’i at the Lana’i Community Health Center and aided in improving the dental care of the underserved population while also working part-time as an associate at Aiea Newtown Dental Group. In his free time, he enjoys attending sporting events (Go USC Trojans, Oakland A’s, Phoenix Suns, and New York Giants!!) and playing golf and softball. He also holds full privileges and is a teaching attending at the Queen’s Medical Center Dental Residency. He enjoys getting to know each and every one of his patients in order to treat them on an individual basis and developing a conservative, affordable and preventive plan to better sustain a healthy oral environment.
