Dr. Khawla AlJohani, affectionately known as Dr. Kay to her patients, grew up in the vibrant city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, surrounded by a family of dentists and specialists who inspired her passion for dentistry from an early age. She began her own dental career by earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Ibn Sina National College, followed by a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the National Guards Hospital in Jeddah, where she gained hands-on experience in a wide range of dental procedures. Dr. Kay’s passion for periodontics and implant dentistry led her to the United States, where she pursued advanced specialty training at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine. There, she completed a rigorous residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry while earning a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree. Dr. Kay is also proud to be a board-certified periodontist and Implant surgeon, a distinction that reflects her commitment to providing the highest standard of care in her field. Dr. Kay is also LANAP-certified and trained in conscious sedation, allowing her to offer minimally invasive, comfortable treatment options for her patients. She stays at the forefront of periodontal technology, utilising the latest advancements to ensure precise, effective, and patient-friendly care.
