Dr Dayne Patterson

Although born in Colorado, Dr. Dayne Patterson has spent most of his life in Northern Virginia. One of his fondest memories of his childhood in Colorado was his visits to his local dentist—he even enjoyed watching his parents get their teeth cleaned! This planted the seed for Dr. Patterson’s passion for dentistry, and his interest was confirmed once he realized how much he loved science, art, working with his hands, and helping others. Dr. Patterson completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended dental school at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he was awarded his DDS degree. Next, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco to expand his knowledge and gain further experience. Before settling in the Alexandria area, he also briefly practiced in San Diego. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Patterson enjoys working out, playing and watching sports, exploring the ever-changing world of technology, and spending quality time with his wife and three daughters.
