Dr. Michael Ryan was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and has lived in Dallas since the late 1980's. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2001, and earned a dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2006. After receiving his general dental degree, Dr. Ryan spent an additional 3 years at Baylor completing a dental specialty program in Prosthodontics. He also completed a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Ryan's specialty training in Prosthodontics primarily focused on the esthetic reconstruction and replacement of teeth in complex cases. He has extensive experience as a Prosthodontist, using fixed and removable appliances in conjunction with dental implants. Additional training, as a part of his Prosthodontist specialty, involved the treatment of jaw joint problems. This program also included rotations at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and lecturing both here in Dallas, and at the Universities of Geneva and Bern in Switzerland. In his free time, Dr. Mike enjoys learning new things, coaching and watching his kids' numerous sports activities, and spending time outside. He can perform complex oral rehabilitation with a variety of tooth replacement and repair options.
