Dr. Shalin Patel grew up in Massachusetts and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in 2013, finishing with a B.S. in Biology. Following his college graduation, he attended University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine to obtain his Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2017. To further his skills, he finished a one year General Practice Residency Program in Danbury Hospital, where he gained extensive surgical and complex case management experience. Dr. Shalin has the goal of providing customised treatment for the needs of the individual patient. He strives for a pain-free, relaxing dental experience as well as having the patients be in the driver’s seat. When Dr. Shalin is not working at the office, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and playing tennis with his wife and friends. They recently welcomed their first puppy in their home and are enjoying every minute with her!
