Dr. Meraj completed a B.S. in Biology from Lafayette College and worked in research at Strong Memorial Hospital before getting her DDS at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1998. She completed her General Practice Residency (GPR) at Staten Island University Hospital before starting private practice in Manhattan. During this time she completed the NYU-Brookdale Hospital maxi course in dental implants and has been placing implants since 2004. She relocated to Maryland in 2003 and has been a Calvert County resident for almost 20 years. She is dedicated to making every patient's dental experience gentle and effortless. She invests a lot of time into understanding a patient’s lifestyle in order to better address their needs. It is her love of implant and cosmetic dentistry that motivates her to evolve with new dental technology. She spends her free time with her children, family and friends. She enjoys the theater, concerts, museums and travel.
