Dr Michael Bass

Dr. Michael Bass is originally from Edenton, NC. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University in Utah. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. Dr. Bass enjoys water sports, snow skiing, working on home projects with his wife, Sherrie, and spending time with their four children, and 2 dogs. Dr. Bass is passionate about staying up to date on the latest technologies and procedures in dentistry. He consistently exceeds the recommended annual requirement for continuing education and attends courses regularly at institutions such as the Dawson Center, the Pankey Institute, Spear Education, as well as local study clubs. He received the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007 and his Masters Award in 2020(less than 2% of dentists reach this level of achievement). Dr. Michael Bass is also active in the Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, Wake County Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
