Dr Christopher M. Hawkins

I am excited to offer patients a dental experience that is centered on the person. We are keen listeners and seek to understand what a person needs rather than to be understood. Caring for people, rather than focusing on fixing teeth, is why I love being a dentist! I truly enjoy working one-on-one with our patient family. My goal as a dental provider is to change the image of dentistry. The vast majority of patients experience some level of fear or anxiety when it comes to dental care. At The Dental Center, we are able to develop relationships with our dental family and dispel anxiety. In cases of extreme anxiety, we offer safe sedation methods allowing them to access the high-quality dentistry they need, desire, and deserve. I have been in practice for seven years. Dentistry is a melting pot of many of the things that I enjoy, especially developing meaningful relationships with others. I am an oral healthcare provider that helps people achieve healthy smiles and improve their overall well-being. We base our care recommendations on current research and deliver results that exceed our patients' expectations. It is truly an honor to serve others as their dental provider. Dr. Hawkins is committed to pursuing advanced training in order to provide the latest techniques in dental care. These techniques deliver care in a safe, comfortable, and pain-free manner. He has participated in postgraduate training in periodontal surgery, dental implants, and oral and IV conscious sedation. In addition to his surgical background, he has completed a Fellowship in Dental Implantology with New York University and Dental XP. Further postgraduate coursework includes endodontic (root canal) treatment, clear orthodontic treatment, oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea, and cosmetic dentistry. He is also trained with the use of Botox® and dermal fillers. Dr. Hawkins is an active member in the: Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Spear Faculty Club, Spear St. Louis Study Club, Dental XP, The Dental Advisor, The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention.
