Dr. Burns grew up in Deerfield, Illinois, but his love for the outdoors brought him to Colorado. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He completed advanced residency training at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Dr. Burns is passionate about delivering advanced, patient-centered dentistry with a focus on immediate implant solutions. He is one of only four dentists in Colorado certified in the 3 on 6™ implant procedure, offering patients a permanent, functional alternative to dentures—often in significantly less time than traditional approaches. Dr. Burns works part-time at this office to support patients who need advanced implant surgery and full-arch restoration, collaborating closely with the team to provide seamless, high-level care. He is proud to work alongside his sister-in-law, Dr. Jill, helping bring specialized implant expertise directly to patients in a familiar setting. Outside the office, Dr. Burns enjoys exploring the Colorado mountains with his wife, Kelly, their two daughters, Zoey and Remy, and their dog, Batman.
