Dr. Lans has been providing outstanding dental services to the Northern Virginia area since 1978. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1973 before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 1977. In order to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Lans maintains active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Sports Dentistry, and the Crown Council. Dr. Lans is actively involved in various volunteer organizations. He is a partner in “Smiles For Life,” a foundation that helps raise money for severely ill and needy children. He performs annual mouth exams and oral screening at local elementary schools. Dr. Lans has been voted one of Northern Virginia’s Top Dentists by both patient and peer surveys!
