Dr. Daniel Johnson grew up in Dalton, GA. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia. After his time at UGA, he attended the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Johnson continued his training at the Dental College of Georgia by completing a General Practice Residency where his training was focused on comprehensive general dentistry, dental implant placement and restoration, and general surgery. He continues his education by participating in the L.D. Pankey Study Club of Athens. Dr. Johnson holds memberships with the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Clark County Dental Society. He has previously served on the board of trustees for the GDA and currently serves as the president of the Georgia Dental Association’s Eastern District. Outside of the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife, Caroline, and their chocolate lab, Ellie Mae. He loves to fly fish in the North Georgia mountains, is an avid Dawgs and Braves fan, and enjoys traveling to new places.
