Dr Allison Thompson

Growing up in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Dr. Thompson is a proud graduate of the College of Charleston for undergrad, and Medical University of South Carolina for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Her main reason for becoming a dentist is personal—her own journey to correct peg lateral incisors adjacent to her front teeth involved years of orthodontic care. So she has a special appreciation for what smile transformation can do for a person’s confidence. After completing a one-year AEGD residency program—Advanced Education in General Dentistry—Dr. Thompson moved to Atlanta with her husband, Kip, who is a native of the Big Peach. They live in Brookhaven with their adorable twin daughters, Avery and Kaylan. When not at the practice, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family in the great outdoors, traveling and dining out. Dr. Allison Thompson is proud to serve patients at Palm Branch Dentistry with a passion for confident smiles, compassionate care, and long-term relationships built on trust.
