Dr. Edward Mills is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in dental implantology and restorative dentistry. As Director and Senior Dentist at the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry, he is known for delivering exceptional patient care. With decades of experience, Dr. Mills has also made lasting contributions to dental education and surgical advancements. He is a Diplomate of multiple implantology boards and a former president of the AAID. Dr. Mills began his academic journey at Oxford College of Emory University, earning an Associate in Arts degree before completing a Bachelor of Science at Emory University in Atlanta. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Emory University School of Dentistry in 1980. As the founder of the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry, his focus is on comprehensive treatment planning, full-mouth reconstruction, and advanced dental implant therapy. He also serves as Director of the Advanced Dental Implant Studies (ADIS) group. For more than 30 years, Dr. Mills has served as a mentor and educator to thousands of dentists, teaching at Emory University, Howard University, the Medical College of Georgia, and through programs like the AAID MaxiCourse. He has served in nearly every major leadership role within the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, including National President.
