Dr Matthew Yeung

Dr. Matthew Yeung Dr. Matthew Yeung was born and raised in northern Virginia. From his early high school days, he knew that he wanted to be involved in providing others with healthy, confident smiles. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at Virginia Tech prior to earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Bio Dr. Yeung joined the team after discovering that the quality and care provided at Atlanta Dental Spa aligned with his personal philosophy. He has since enjoyed splitting his time between the Virginia Highlands and Buckhead offices. After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Yeung moved to the New England area where he worked as an analytical scientist. He later returned to Virginia where he obtained his dental degree. During this time, Dr. Yeung became published for his work in digital dentistry specifically in the field of implant dentistry. After graduation, he moved to Augusta, Georgia where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and General Practice Residencies. While in residency, Dr. Yeung helped to implement digital workflows into everyday care for his patients. Both programs provided Dr. Yeung with training centered around IV conscious sedation, dental surgery, cosmetics, and comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Yeung is dedicated to the continued pursuit of education. He is an active member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Yeung serves as a part-time clinical instructor at the Dental College of Georgia where he participates in lecturing and clinical coverage of current residents. In his free time, Dr. Yeung enjoys living an active lifestyle. If his Hokies aren’t playing football, you can find him enjoying the outdoors or exploring the area.
