Dr. Vaughn is a former childhood musician who dedicated many hours to advancing her skill as a clarinetist. Through this training she learned of her gift of dexterity, paired with the passion of inspiring people and this began her path to her career in dentistry. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Texas-Houston. She has gained extensive clinical experience in the private practice setting and has developed specific expertise in providing comprehensive oral care to a diverse medically complex adult and pediatric population. In addition to her formal training, Dr. Vaughn has participated in international outreach experience in Peru, and she remains committed to the importance of educating her local community on oral health through wellness fairs and area screenings.
