Trent M. Collett, DMD started his dental education at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, after graduating from the Honors Program at the University of Georgia with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Biology and Psychology. Dr. Collett continued his training in the General Practice Residency at the Dental College of Georgia. In his two years of residency, he trained extensively in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, IV sedation, and a variety of surgical procedures. Dr. Collett worked at the Augusta University hospital during residency, treating patients with dental trauma, and completing rotations in emergency medicine, anesthesia, and otolaryngology. He also helped teach the Augusta University Maxi Course, which teaches other dentists how to place and manage dental implants. Dr. Collett is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an active member in the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. He maintains a faculty appointment at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Collett’s goal is to provide a warm, caring, and personalized experience for every patient.
