Dr. Deshmukh (also known as Dr. D) is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and her clinical expertise is in periodontal surgeries, dental implants, implant site preparations, regenerative procedures, and mucogingival plastic surgeries. Dr. D is passionate about enhancing the quality of the patient's oral health and is particularly interested in applying innovative techniques in periodontology and implantology that result in improved outcomes. Dr. D says, 'What motivates me the most is to see a change in my patient's oral and overall health as a result of a little contribution that I make through my work.' Dr. D has been featured in the Top Dentists lists in Boston Magazine and Rhode Island Monthly in 2018,2019 and 2022. Dr. D holds a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) (2004), a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Periodontology and Dental Implantology (2010), and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University (2017). She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She enjoys spending time with her husband Nilay, two daughters Aadya and Shreya and their dog 'Spice'. She also likes to volunteer and socialize with her multitude of friends.
