Dr. Kauffman graduated with honors from Cornell University with a B.S. in Plant Biology. As a Fulbright Scholar, she conducted biochemistry research in India, where she lived for one year. She went on to earn her D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors. After dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, with a focus on restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, implant placement, surgical extractions, and removable dentures. Dr. Kauffman began her dental career as the Dental Director of a community health center in Seattle, Washington. She later transitioned to private practice in Seattle, where she honed her expertise in full-mouth restorative and esthetic dentistry, implant prosthetics, Invisalign, and removable prosthodontics. She works closely with her patients to achieve outcomes tailored to their individual needs and goals. Passionate about dentistry and the opportunity it offers to serve others, Dr. Kauffman is honored to continue her work here in Maine.
