Dr. Dennis Shim graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a dual bachelor degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry. He later received his doctorate in dental medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. His passion for dentistry has led him to continue his studies at the Dawson Academy and ultimately, completion of their residency program. The Dawson Academy has helped Dr. Shim become an expert of the entire masticatory system, with a comprehensive understanding of how the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and teeth work together. At Two Rivers Family Dentistry, Dr. Shim has made a commitment to help better serve our community by providing exceptional dental care, while making it as painless as possible.
