Growing up in Oxford Hills with a family friend who was a dentist, Dr. McVety was inspired to serve through dentistry. He graduated from Bates College before earning his DMD. He has international training with Dr. Tomas Linkevičius (Lithuania) and Dr. Bernardo Sousa (Portugal). He volunteers through Dental Lifeline Network and Finding Our Smiles Organization.
