Born and raised in Methuen, Massachusettes. Graduated from St. Anselm College, Manchester NH in 1980 with a bachelor degree in biology. Received dental degree from Boston University in 1984. Practiced general dentistry in Rangeley, Maine from 1984-1986, as a federal employee in the National Health Service Corps. Has been in private practice in Augusta, Maine since 1986.
