Dr. Potter grew up in a small town in east Texas, enjoying life in the country before moving up north for college. After completing his bachelor’s degree in biology at Purdue University, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania. Along the way, he developed a love for traveling and appreciating other cultures. He returned home to Texas in 2009. A strong believer in communities, Dr. Potter loves working and living in East Austin. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys giving back with volunteer work, including providing dental care to those with limited access with programs like Dentists With a Heart. Dr. Potter views providing excellent oral health care as a way of taking great care of a person’s overall health. He enjoys taking time to get to know patients, which also helps in achieving and maintaining healthy smiles. From prevention to advanced cosmetic work, Dr. Potter provides a wide range of dental knowledge and care. When away from the office, he enjoys reading, scuba diving, mountain biking, and playing guitar with his band.
