Dr. Natassia Martins was born in Connecticut to Brazilian parents. She grew up in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where she got her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2012. After practicing as a general dentist in Brazil, Dr. Martins continued her education at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD). During her time at Boston University, she was elected Alumni Member of the prestigious GSDM Lambda Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and received a Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists. Growing up in a family of dentists, she often found herself spending time in the family’s dental practices, where she witnessed firsthand dentistry’s power to transform self-esteem and confidence. These experiences shaped her passion for dentistry and inspired her to pursue a career as a dentist. She finds the ability to have such a direct positive impact on someone’s life exceedingly gratifying. Dr. Martins is committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients. During her free time, she loves to travel and enjoys reading, practicing yoga and trying new restaurants.
