Born and raised right here in Austin, TX, Dr. Rachel Morren always knew she had an interest in helping people through healthcare. Her eyes were opened to the field of dentistry during her undergraduate years when she had the opportunity to attend various dental mission trips to Central America which solidified her passion. Dr. Morren prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail and values the importance of transparency and education in patient care. Dr. Morren completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, and then earned her doctorate in dental surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she met her husband, Dr. Bonner Morren. Combining her degree in nutritional sciences with her doctorate in dental surgery, Dr. Morren practices with an emphasis on understanding the connection between oral health and systemic health and wellness in comprehensive treatment planning. Developing meaningful relationships with her patients is something she considers to be one of the best parts of her job. Dr. Morren prides herself on being able to treat anxious patients and is constantly striving to shift the mentality behind the dreaded dental visit to instead be an experience patients enjoy and look forward to.
