Dr. Chris Kiuftis grew up in Bakersfield and proudly serves the community that shaped him. He and his wife, Julia, raise their four children—Konstantina, Eleni, Mary, and Angelo—in Bakersfield, where they enjoy family bike rides on the bike path, dance rehearsals, duck-feeding adventures, and plenty of laughter fill their days. When he isn’t caring for smiles, Dr. Kiuftis heads outdoors with his children whenever he can. Together they enjoy exploring the High Sierras, fishing for trout in Bishop, and soaking up family adventures in nature. He also carves out time for his own pursuits—like 4x4ing and hunting for his annual jerky meat—because for Dr. Kiuftis, the outdoors is both a personal passion and a way to connect with his kids. Dr. Kiuftis graduated from California State University, Bakersfield, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. While in Virginia, he joined the Mission of Mercy and provided free dental care to thousands in need. That experience continues to fuel his commitment to serving others today. He actively participates in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Kern County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, where he works toward his fellowship distinction. He also belongs to the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and focuses on Oral Implantology, using his expertise to transform smiles across Kern County—something he considers one of the most rewarding parts of his career. Dr. Kiuftis is more than a skilled dentist—he is a devoted family man, an avid outdoorsman, and a committed advocate for his community. He takes great pride in combining clinical excellence with genuine care, helping his patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
