Born in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Rivera moved to the U.S. in 1981 with her family. Bakersfield feels like home due to family ties and community. Influenced by her father, a physician, she pursued dentistry for its rewarding patient interactions. After undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of California, San Francisco. Practised dentistry with Dr. Woolf (former dentist at the practice) since 2000. Enjoys spending time with husband Aaron, children Rebecca and Benjamin, and cat Snowball. Hobbies include singing and painting. Fluent in English and Tagalog.
