Dr. Allison S. Piper’s journey into dentistry began with a passion for helping others. Originally exploring several career paths, she discovered her love for dentistry while volunteering as a dental assistant for Boston Healthcare for the Homeless. This experience sparked her dedication to providing personalized, high-quality care. Since purchasing and renaming Belfast Dental Care in 2014, Dr. Piper has built on the 40-year legacy of Dr. John Slaughter, focusing on excellence in dentistry and creating an exceptional experience for every patient. She was born and raised in the Hudson Valley of New York, spent summers visiting family in Franklin, Maine, and moved to Belfast in 2012 to be closer to family. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, values the support of her community, both personally and professionally, and believes in making each day great with her positive outlook.
