Dr. Imam received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Nigeria in 1986, and practiced in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom, where he did his Oral & Maxillofacial Residency Training. Dr. Imam attended New York University College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1999. Since that time, he has continued to expand his knowledge and skills through continuing education courses. He also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU College of Dentistry for fifteen years (1999-2014). Dr. Imam has over 30 plus years practicing dentistry and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of dental care utilizing state-of-the-art technology with an emphasis on Biological Dentistry. A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, he received two years of training in implant dentistry as well as two years of training in TMD and orofacial pain at NYU. It is in these three areas that Dr. Imam has a special interest. He is an accredited member of the IAOMT and is SMART certified. In his free time, he likes to travel, watch movies and play tennis.
