Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. John Kerns earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his dental degree from Marquette University, where he pursued honors courses and research in periodontics. In dental school, he led a student ethics group and helped plan a national meeting that brought medical and dental leaders together to improve patient care. Dr. Kerns believes oral health is intrinsic to healthcare and is committed to helping patients stay healthy and confident in their smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Kerns enjoys cooking, playing pickleball and waterskiing on the lake with his family.
