Dr. Swanton is originally from the Oscoda area, and graduated from Oscoda High School in 1986. She attended both Alpena Community College, and Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Swanton attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated in 1997 with honors. After moving back to her hometown of Oscoda, she decided to start her own practice which opened in January of 1998. She maintains active licensure in both Wisconsin and Michigan, and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Swanton also is affiliated with the Saginaw District Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society, and regularly attends continuing education through these entities. Dr. Swanton enjoys many hobbies including cooking, gardening, fitness, travel, skiing, kayaking, camping, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and pets.
