Dr. Koroneos earned a bachelors degree in International Relations from Boston University. He subsequently earned his DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, Dr. Koroneos was president of a class of 200 students and served as the bridge between the students and the faculty. The American College of Dentists awarded him the "Outstanding Student Leader" award and he also received an endowed prize fund for leadership. Dr. Koroneos prides himself on clinical practice backed by evidence based dentistry. He is a member of the Robert Andrews Research Honor Society and was a Deans Research Scholar at Tufts, where he focused on implant survival and complications. He has presented his work at multiple International and American Association for Dental Research meetings. Dr. Koroneos also received the Dr. Harold Berk Endowed Prize Fund for Excellence in Research. After graduating from Tufts Dr. Koroneos went on to complete a general practice residency at Bellevue Hospital Center, learning advanced dental and surgical procedures in a fast paced hospital setting. Dr. Koroneos is committed to providing the highest standard of care using the most up to date techniques and methods. He has completed multiple continuing education courses focusing on implants, dental occlusion, cosmetic treatments, and sleep apnea. In his free time, Dr. Koroneos loves to cook and frequents jazz shows and other live music performances in New York City.
