Dr. Richard Weaver was born and raised in Beaumont, TX. He graduated from Forest Park High School before attending Lamar University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After receiving his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1979, Dr. Weaver returned to Beaumont where he has practiced dentistry for the past 30 years. Dr. Weaver still plays soccer and loves to hunt. His most recent excursions include trips to Alaska, Africa, and Argentina. Let’s just say that he enjoys just about any outdoor activity. In addition to donating his time and money to local charities, Dr. Weaver has also participated in dental mission trips to less fortunate communities in Belize, Mexico, and Russia. Dr. Weaver and his wife, Sherry, attend St. Anne’s Catholic Church. They have one son, Chase, who is attending Texas A&M University.
