Rachel calls this area of the PNW home, having spent most of her childhood growing up in Newport Heights and the East Renton Highlands. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) before completing her dental degree with Honors at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland. Dr. Meek is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and has spent a large part of her career caring for indigenous patients in tribal and Indian Health Service clinics. Dr. Meek’s practice focuses on using minimally invasive dentistry for patients of all ages and backgrounds. She cares deeply about providing her patients positive experiences that empower them to take control of their oral health, love their smile, and show dental anxiety who’s boss! Dr. Meek is passionate about advocacy, life-long learning, and mentorship, as well. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Society of American Indian Dentists. She also serves as volunteer faculty for OHSU’s Wy’East Dentistry Pathway. Dr. Meek adores spending quality time with her husband and two dogs, curling up with a good book, and cheering on the Seahawks and Kraken!
