Dr Alexandra Lauterborn,

Dr. Alexandra Lauterborn grew up in Farmingdale and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. Dr. Ali received her undergraduate degree from Marist College where she was a Division I athlete, playing for the Marist Women’s Soccer team for all four years, majoring in Biomedical Sciences. Following undergrad, Dr. Ali attended the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with a minor in Periodontology. She also received the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Student Award upon graduation. Dr. Ali completed her general practice residency at New York Presbyterian where she received the Dr. Lawrence Diamond Award representing clinical excellence in Periodontics. Dr. Ali continued on to do a second year of residency at New York University – Winthrop University Hospital for additional training in comprehensive surgical and restorative phases of dentistry. Dr. Ali is certified in Invisalign, Botox, Dermal and Lip Filler, Smooth & Lifting PDO threads, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Ali is currently a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Ali currently lives in Huntington with her husband Dan and her dog, Prince. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out and spending summer weekends at the beach out in Montauk.
