Dr Daniel Chen

Dr. Chen is a compassionate dentist who loves meeting new people and developing meaningful connections with his patients. Growing up in the Bay Area as a kid with a sweet tooth, Dr. Chen is no stranger when it comes to visiting the dentist. He was lucky to be in the care of compassionate dentists who helped him overcome his fear of the dental chair and wants to do the same for his patients. Dr. Chen’s patients appreciate his easy-going demeanor and ability to work with people who are normally fearful of dentists. While Dr. Chen was attending the University of California, Berkeley for his undergraduate studies he volunteered weekly at the Berkeley Free Clinic Dental Section to provide free dental services for the underserved. He currently volunteers his time to see patients from the Berkeley Free Clinic, in our office, due to his belief in helping those who cannot help themselves. Dr. Chen received his bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology before attending New York University’s College of Dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Berkeley Dental Society, Dr. Chen takes numerous continuing education courses every year to offer the most relevant and recent evidence-based dentistry to his patients.
