Dr Jay Yoon

Dr. Jay Yoon is a highly experienced provider with extensive experience in implants, full mouth reconstruction, graft surgeries, and surgical extractions. He has successfully placed over 5,000 implants throughout his career, earning a reputation for his efficiency and skill. Patients often express surprise at the ease and speed of the implant procedure, leaving Dr. Yoon’s chair with confidence and minimal discomfort. Dr. Yoon’s educational journey began at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he graduated with a degree in Biochemistry in 1994. He continued his studies at New York University College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. Following dental school, he served as Chief Resident in General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. In 2003, he completed advanced training in Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetics at New York University College of Dentistry under the mentorship of Dr. Tarnow, a renowned figure in the field. His commitment to excellence and contributions to the field of implantology led to his admission to the International Congress of Implants as a Fellow in 2008 and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration in the same year. Dr. Yoon currently practices in Rockville and Bethesda, Maryland, as well as Annandale, Virginia. His dedication to his patients is evident in his commitment to providing exceptional care and utilizing his extensive experience to achieve optimal outcomes. Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Yoon enjoys spending time with his family and watching his sons play competitive lacrosse.
