Dr Apurva Shinde

We are so excited to introduce our BDA team member Dr. Apurva Shinde as an Associate Dentist. To Dr. Shinde, dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science. Although she loves many facets of dentistry, Dr. Shinde most enjoys getting to know her patients. To her, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is special. Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Shinde creates a genuine connection with her patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need. Dr. Shinde was born in India, and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when she was four. Raised in Pittsburgh, she attended the University of Pittsburgh to complete her bachelor’s in Biology. During this time, she also studied abroad in South Korea at Yonsei University. She further completed her dental studies at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduation, Dr. Shinde embarked on a dental residency program at Muhlenberg Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania through Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). There, she received advanced training in prosthodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Shinde loves to paint, garden, and travel. Dr. Shinde believes in the importance of giving patients a comfortable experience as well as providing them with exceptional dental care.
