Dr. Elias Exarchos grew up in Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Exarchos then went on to complete his 3-year advanced specialty training in Periodontology and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the merit-based Zanni Scholarship along with several other awards including the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics and the Morris P. Ruben Award for academics. To maintain his teaching and research interests, Dr. Exarchos holds a position as Clinical Assistant Professor of the Advanced Specialty Education Program, Department of Periodontology at Boston University School of Dental Medicine as well as private practice. Dr. Exarchos understands that many patients may not be completely comfortable with visiting a periodontist. Hence, he endeavors to make visits a low-stress experience with minimal discomfort. His primary focus is to provide dental services in periodontics and implant dentistry - rescuing teeth from periodontal disease and providing implant services when necessary, using a spectrum of traditional and innovative techniques depending on his patients’ unique needs.
