Dr. Akshar Patel was raised in the Birmingham area and graduated from The Altamont School in 2015. He then went on to get his bachelors in science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Patel earned his DMD Degree in Dentistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Patel completed a residency at The Foundry Dental Center, located in Bessemer, AL. During his year long residency, he focused on surgical procedures such as dental implants and extractions. In his free time, Dr. Patel likes to spend time with his family and friends.
