Dr. Crunk received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1975 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Temple University in 1979. He then completed a year-long General Practice Residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1980. After practicing for 6 years in Pennsylvania, Dr. Crunk moved back to his native state of Alabama and began his practice in Montevallo in 1985. Dr. Crunk is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Alabama Dental Association (ALDA), and the Birmingham District Dental Society (BDDS). Dr. Crunk is very involved with the community and has donated his time to many causes, including his time as a volunteer dentist and president of the board at the Foundry Dental Clinic, an organization that provides low-cost dental care to the less fortunate in Bessemer. Dr. Crunk and his wife April enjoy being with their sons Evan (married to Hala) and Jake (engaged to Lauren). They also enjoy running, being in the mountains, or on the water.
