Dr. El-Banhawy completed advanced education in general dentistry at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, followed by postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and a Master of Biomedical Science degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. El-Banhawy is an award-winning periodontist who specializes in the tissues that surround and support your teeth and dental implants. He has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of periodontal microsurgery and immediately loaded “same day” dental implants.
