Dr. Carla grew up in Maplewood, MN. After completing her undergraduate degree in psychology at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Carla practiced dentistry in downtown St Paul with her father until he retired in 2012. Ever since she has worked part time at Hauge Dental Care, where she loves developing relationships, helping patients achieve great oral care and a confident smile. Outside of the office, Dr. Carla enjoys spending time with her husband Tom & their four children, cheering the kids on in their activities and traveling. She has been an active member of the Rotary Club of St Paul since 1997, serving as President in 2015-2016. She volunteers at her church & kids’ school, attends bible studies, walks, practices yoga and spends time outdoors with friends & family whenever possible!
